Acadia Trust is a full service provider of investment, administrative
and recordkeeping services for qualified retirement plans
such as Profit Sharing, Money Purchase, Defined Benefit and
401(k) plans. Additionally, we will serve as Trustee or Custodian
of your retirement plan assets.
:: Plan Design and Consulting
Acadia Trust will work with you to design and implement
a retirement plan program that will achieve your specific
objectives. We will monitor the plan to ensure that it meets
your needs as your business goals change. We will prepare
the necessary plan documents, summary plan descriptions,
and loan and hardship policies. In accordance with IRS regulations,
we will file your Plan with the IRS for approval.
:: Plan Administration Services
Acadia Trust’s Employee Benefits Division offers
complete plan administrative services including participant
recordkeeping on a daily, quarterly or annual basis; loan
and distribution processing; preparation of 1099R forms
and annual 5500 series forms; and summary annual reports
and nondiscrimination testing.
:: Plan Communication
Acadia Trust conducts employee meetings to educate plan
participants on investment options, asset allocation strategies
and enrollment procedures. We regularly meet on-site with
your participants to answer questions on plan provisions
and provide updates on investment options and market conditions.
Plan participants also receive quarterly statements and
can monitor or change their investment choices through 24-hour
Internet service or toll-free voice response access.
:: Investment Options
Acadia Trust offers clients the ability to select from
a wide variety of no-load mutual funds from several different
fund families. We continually monitor the funds for investment
performance, potential changes in fund management, consistency
in stated investment goals, guidelines and internal policies.
Acadia Trust will also provide portfolio management services
for those plans sponsors who prefer to have plan assets
invested in individual stocks and bonds.
