Prior to joining Acadia Trust in 1999, Ed served as Vice President and Trust Investment Officer at Bar Harbor Banking & Trust Company, where his role included research, portfolio management, and account administration. Previously, Ed has specialized in research and portfolio management at First National Bank of Bar Harbor, Casco Northern Bank, and Northern National Bank.
In his role as Senior Vice President and Portfolio Manager for Acadia Trust, he is primarily responsible for managing portfolios for individuals, endowments, municipalities, and employee benefit plans.
Ed is a graduate of Ricker College in Houlton, Maine with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with an Economics major. He has served as a board member of various non-profit organizations over the years. A native of Presque Isle, Maine, Ed currently lives in Ellsworth, Maine.
