Doug joined the firm in August of 2009 as Assistant Portfolio Manager. Over the last four years, he has worked as an investment analyst at various investment firms throughout the country.
In his role as Assistant Portfolio Manager, Doug assists the portfolio managers with stock and bond portfolio management and trading. He participates in the investment committee meetings and prepares various reports for review by the investment team.
Doug earned his B.S. in Business Administration from the Honors College at the College of Charleston where he was a member of the crew team and recently graduated magna cum laude with a MBA degree from Babson College. He was selected as one of fourteen graduate students by finance faculty members to participate in the Finance Immersion Program. Doug is a level II CFA candidate and an affiliate member of the Maine CFA Society and the CFA Institute. He is a native of Castine and Camden, now residing in Portland, Maine.
